Bolour specialized scientific journal is the first and oldest student journal in the mining engineering field, published under the supervision of the Mining Engineering Scientific Association of the Amirkabir University of Technology.
This journal, with a history of more than 25 years, has published 43 volumes, including various articles and papers in the field of mining engineering, since 1996. The content of this publication is in the form of papers on mining exploration, mining, mineral processing, rock mechanics, and related fields. One of the prominent features of this publication is that although the members of its editorial board are mainly graduate students, it has always tried to move forward in line with the current standards of scientific publications in the country. The papers published in this publication are available in the Civilica indexing database and the National Library of Iran.
Thanks to the hardworking students of Polytechnic, this journal has been selected as the best student journal in the country for three different periods in recent years. The SME International Association of Mining Engineering student branch started working in Iran at the end of 2010 with the collective efforts of the students of the faculty of Mining Engineering and under the guidance of Professor Osanloo. SME Association is an international institution in mining engineering and mineral industries. The main headquarters of this association is in the USA, and it is connected with many academic and industrial institutions in mining countries of the world.
In Iran, the only representative of this association is active at the Amirkabir University of Technology, and every year a group of students from all over the country becomes members of this student branch. Holding various student scientific contests and competitions, publication of publications in various mining fields, and access to mining databases and authoritative articles are other advantages of this association.
